Barry Morris

Barry Morris came to Mallory in June of 2012 and is our ENSA Training Manager, Mallory Safety Guy and the author of Mallory Minute’s column “Safety with Barry.” Barry lives in Gary, South Dakota with his wife, Robin and their three children, Denton, Cole and Elizabeth. Barry brings a military background to his current job with Mallory and is pretty passionate about Safety. Barry shared a little about himself in our Employee Spotlight Questionnaire:

What I like best about working for Mallory: You’re a name not a number
Best job/Worst job: Senior Munition Inspector USAF, Alkharj, Saudi Arabia (both)

I’m happiest when: Outdoors
What I fear most: Hell
I’m proudest of: My Wife and Kids
Favorite sports or pastimes: See happiest when
The Top 3 Highlights of my Life: My wedding day, 20 year retirement from active duty military and being able to hold my Father hand as he lost his life!
People would be surprised to know: I can sew, however it must be camo of course!
If I could do it all over again, I would: Steer clear of tobacco
Favorite Memory: I should say my children’s birthday or my wedding day however; my favorite is a 1.5 hour F16 Fighter incentive flight in W Germany. Greatest roller coaster ride EVER!
Favorite song, movie, book, or comedian: Quiet Your Mind, Zac Brown Band
Best Vacation: Fly fishing in the Big Horn Mountains
Before I die, I would like to: Walk the Camino de Santiago
Goals for the coming year (work or personal or both): Lose 20 lbs
